The Erasmus + KA2 Project of Strategic Associations of Good Practices «Dual VET Patners in Europe» carried out by German, Italian and Spanish partners is close to reaching one third of its execution schedule.
In this time we have already celebrated the first transnational meeting held on 24, 25 and 26 January in Seville. In this meeting, which lasted two days, we sought to achieve the objectives of the Project and take advantage of the meeting in Seville of German, Italian and Andalusian educational and business entities to create new synergies.
The partners of the Project have been able to know the system of Vocational Training in Italy, Germany and Spain, explained by each one of the partners of the consortium. These will allow us to now extract the weaknesses and strengths of each of the Systems to start designing what can be the ideal dual professional training to be carried out in the three countries. During the stay in Seville, the strategic partners have held meetings in the Andalusian Business Confederation (CEA) with the provincial presidents of FATRANS ( Andalusian Transport Federation in Andalucia) as well as with the Head of Training of the CEA, Reyes Gómez. In these meetings, in addition to presenting the Project that we carry out and where we always request the participation of all, we took the opportunity to see the possibilities of collaboration in other lines of work related to dual vocational training.
The partners of the consortium have also visited one of the companies in the Transport sector in Andalusia, where they have been able to talk with apprentices and their tutors, to contrast the information they received about Vocational Training in Andalusia.
The Project has also been presented to the Head of European Projects of the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Andalucía, Mrs. Angeles Gabella. Taking advantage of this meeting by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economic Development of Lower Saxony, it has been proposed to intensify relations in terms of mobility of Andalusian and German students.
The facilities of the IES Monroy, partner of the Consortium, where the partners have been able to meet students of the Logistics and Transport Cycle have also been visited. The students have the theoretical-practical contents that they study in the educational center and their labor expectations. The Project was presented to them, and they were informed that it was done precisely to improve that easy and rapid labor insertion they demand.
The visit to Seville has also been useful so that the IHK of Hannover, a strategic partner of the Project, can present its Mobility Program to IES of Seville (IES Polytechnic, IES Arenal, FESAC, IES Monroy) with which it held bilateral meetings during those days.
Currently we are working on the contents and the organization of the next Workshop.
The first workshop will take place on May 14, 15 and 16 in Hannover (Germany)
The days 04, 05 and 06 of June will be held in Buccino (Italy)
The third Workshop of this year 2018 will be held in Seville (Spain) on June 11, 12 and 13.
